Hail. Ellseya Aissa.
Kul Tirassian Mariner.
From her MRP:Sharp, forest green eyes peer out from flesh tanned from it's time at sea. Waves of ebony hair were cropped short, pushed off to the right side of her face. Her lips were often painted in an almost clay-coloured hue with a hint of red.
A few sun spots and freckles could be seen when her shoulders are bare, speckling up along her shoulders and neck. Her muscles were toned and lithe, hands rough beneath her gloves. Her stance was a strong and confident one, almost bordering arrogant but from the polite smile she'd give in your direction it'd remove that thought from your mind.
A rose tattoo was inked on her lower back, rising upward, made to look like henna but much more permanent. It was of a tribal-esque design, the intricate details starting just at her rump, the petals and leaves branching out toward her mid spine.
Ellseya used to sail aboard The Sea's Virtue, a Kul Tirassian vessel used for securing supplies to and from Tol Baraad, with a few other voyages. It was a ship her Mother captained, a ship she grew up on. The ship was crewed by three families. The Aissa's, the Kennedy's and the Mac Conmara's. As such, the bound the ship's crew had over the years blossomed to a forever strong one, one of a family. Elsy was a chaste as chaste could be, never roaming far from the ship at Port's to take a man, nor would she take a member of the crew as she viewed them more so as family.
The Sea's Virtue had it's last voyage as it left the port of Booty Bay. The Bloodsail Buccaneers caught word of a Kul Tirassian vessel and with Duke Falrevere's wanting the Kul Tirassian's as his next big prize what pirate ship would not set out against them? They hit hard and they hit fast. The Sea's Virtue was fast, but not fast enough to outride them. Battle ensued on the ocean. Kul Tirassians and Buccaneers alike were slaughtered for survival. It was in this that Elsy did not make it to her younger brother in time, before she watched a man end him in a knife fight on the top deck. A man she later discovered had once been of their colours, a Kul Tirassian forced to submit to the pirate life in order to survive. A traitor, nonetheless, and Ellseya cursed his name.
Pirates were not the only ones they had to fear that night. The naga, off the coast of Stranglethorn, saw the opportunity for easy prey as pirates and mariners alike were flung from the ships. It was only by luck, and vigorously fighting for her life that Elsy managed to make it ashore, off the coast of Westfall. From there, she traveled north to where she knew the Kingdom of Stormwind rest. She sent lists to every inn keeper and town's guard along that coast with the names of her crew, wanting to know if any of them arrived or tried to sign in. Wanting to know if anyone else survived. Meanwhile, she would wait in Stormwind at the harbour, watching the west for their return.
It was shortly after her arrival within the city that she happened across a group of people, one of them being a newly anointed Knight. By extension, she met an older Knight. This younger one, Javarn, was part of a group of people referred to as the Dryad's, named after the Boarding House, The Drunken Dryad, that they ran and lived in. They did so much more than that. Overtime, Elsy would come to owe a new life to the Dryad's, becoming one herself.
The older Captain, Sir Navrice Rageblade, a friend of the Dryad's, but not a Dryad himself, offered to look into her crew's whereabouts at the Command Center. It required stepping through a lot of red tape, but eventually, the dog tags of what crew members were found and not lost in the sea, were returned to Elsy. It was a majority of them, leading her to accept that she was the only survivor of her crew and family. Mourning would be short lived as the Iron Horde invaded the Dryad required to head down to the South. Not before their Caretaker, a wonderful woman by the name of Suni Marsh, aided her in a ceremony to give remembrance to her family and to help guide their spirits in the after life.
During their venture to the Blasted Lands, and even before that, feelings began stirring in Elsy that she hadn't felt before. Feelings for the younger of the two Knight's as he had been there for her for so much, through the hardest part of her life, and he had been such an all around good man to her and others from what she saw. Feelings that would come up later on.
While in the Blasted Lands, Elsy made the mistake of wandering off alone, despite orders from her superiors to never leave the Dryad camp without at least one other person. A capsule was shot forth, landing on Elsy and crushing her right leg. Daniel, Jelmorin and Beth found her and helped her, taking her back to the city to get mended. As soon as she was able to, she made her way to the portal and went back to the Blasted Lands. On her way leaving the Shattered Front she didn't survive the venture through Nethergarde to head back up the cliff to her camp. Not without getting captured by the Iron Horde and tortured for information as to where the supplies were coming from. Three days went by before Javarn led a rescue mission to find her. Three days she was brutishly tortured, including having her joints stretched, wooden splinters shot under her nails and the threat of being drawn and quartered.
In the rescue party was one Logan Kennedy. A crew mate who had found the Dryad's, searching for Elsy. Someone had survived.
There is so much more but I won't overwhelmingly spam you. I will tease and say that she is now a Squire, heart torn, and fell even more before she began to rise up. : )
